The 7th annual Kootenay Music Awards happened March 23rd and delivered a dazzling celebration of: diversity, creativity, and community musicians. The Kootenay Co-op Radio was proud to present the awards for the third consecutive year, and are the beneficiaries of any profits raised from this creative regional event. There were 6 fabulous live performances, an exciting award ceremony, and some truly amazing prizes for our winners.

This year the KMAs received over 100 submissions and 2500 People's Choice votes! Many thanks to each artist that submitted their music for this year's Kootenay Music Awards; your hard work and talents are greatly appreciated.
