subt

Subtropic Sound Collective ft. Clinton Swanson

"The song was inspired originally by an evening with a rainstorm as the backdrop. I was practicing putting music to visuals and seeing how the visuals evoked feeling. I watched a high definition film of the moon rising. From that the basic idea came (which was a guitar part). I then sent it over to my friend Dave. He put a lot of effort into it and really made it shine. We collabed back and forth on it. Trying to get it just right. We both agreed it needed sax and that's when Clinton Swanson came to mind. He's a beast. We sent him some ideas and within a short time he sent us back more than we could have hoped for. And so, the song Moon was born." - Sean
